Don’t Touch My Hair.

A project by Art For Goons.

Don't Touch My Hair:

The Why.

“Don’t Touch My Hair” is a tribute to the hair of my people, an enormous part of our identity, and of course, how we express ourselves.

The hair of my people is not something to be gawked at, but instead admired and loved like the treasure and sign of royalty that it is.

I want to celebrate black hair, simply because it is our crown and our birthright.

Don't Touch My Hair:

Roll Credits.

Because I constantly showcase my negroses does not mean that you cannot take away any lessons from the subject matter I discuss.

This is a tribute and a call to action to love ourselves and be proud of who we are. Don’t make yourself little for anyone else. Walk in the greatness that you were born to exist in.

I started AFG to highlight all of my family, black and brown.

This project is about taking ownership of our bodies and image. We dictate the narrative.
