Poetry Era Merch.

Circa Sept. 2021

Back when the locs were freeformed and the style was minimal.

BAck in September 2021, i wanted to find different ways to showcase and share my poetry with the world. At the time, I was getting into graphic design and thought, “I think people would love to have these powerful words hanging on their walls”.

I never released them to the public fully (maybe around 20 people have one of these plaques), and I may never do so. Nonetheless, I think it’s essential to share what could have been. It’s showing people that not every great idea makes it out. Just because it didn’t make it then, doesn’t make it any less significant. Some ideas are meant to lay the foundation. I knew that whatever AFG puts out in terms of merchandise or art would be something made from the heart, not to get rich quickly. These plaques walked so that every AFG project after it could run.

Shout-out to 2021 Rob, he was so cool. Massive shoutout to the homegirl Mercy for getting these shots for me.
