Portraits of the homies.

Volume VI

A series showcasing the beauty of the faces that help shape my world. Portraits captured circa early August 2025.

As we come up on five years of Art For Goons, I feel good knowing that I have only been getting better at building worlds, but also showing love and admiration for the things and people that help keep mine together. Art For Goons started as a page to showcase my art, and now it’s become my lifeline and the thing that puts air in my lungs; the wind under my wings.

I want to thank my homies for always supporting me, and even when they don’t see the vision, they see me, and I think that’s most important. Over the past few years, I’ve met so many people who make my day and even my art worth making sometimes. To be told that I’m an inspiration is still so wild to me, and I want to take a second to appreciate how far I’ve come, not only as a photographer, but as “The Community Pillar”. The title that the homie Shann gave me.

To the homies that slid to the shoot, thank you so much. I really appreciate the people who love me and my art. I appreciate everyone who understands that there is no me without my art and my art is nothing without my people. So if you’ve shown up for myself, my art, or my people, thank you to the moon and back.

As we enter these new chapters of our lives, I wish you nothing but peace and prosperity. I pray that every day you are alive, you find more purpose, rhyme, and reason in your life and existence. Don’t ever settle when God is always cooking up his best for you. Always remember that everything will work out because God said that it would.
