Last September, I got the amazing opportunity to meet Sweetz at the Mid City Mercado Legacy Gala, and during our brief conversation, I already knew she was good peoples. She invited me to her community Ofrenda to honor ancestors and lost loved ones. Although I wasn’t able to make it to the debut, I thought it was just as essential to take some photos of her, Jesus, the architect of the Ofrenda, and the Ofrenda itself.
